J. Sterling re-released The Perfect Game Series with new audio

the perfect game cover art depicts a baseball field washed in a saturated blue colored filter with a white baseball and bold blocky dark blue letters

I was honored to bring Cassie to life in the re-release of J. Sterlings hit series "The Perfect Game". This sports romance was narrated in dual with and Ryan Lee Dunlap and we had such a blast working on these books with Sparks Fly Studios. We all developed a tight bond with each other and J. Sterling and had a great chat on instagram live that you can watch on replay here!

Performing this audiobook had a profound impact on me that I did not expect. I'm used to narrating pretty dark material as someone who works on a lot of horror, fantasy, and thrillers under another name. But At the end of the day I can detach myself from the work and return to "life as usual" outside the booth. This one? Not so much - I felt like I had been on an emotional roller coaster and had to really take time to

J. Sterling's characters feel so realistic they have incredible back and forth banter and you can't help but fall in love with both of them. But the way she wrote one particular traumatic experience for the FMC, and the devestating conflicts between the two protagonists had me weeping to the point where I had to take breaks from the booth. This experience was so moving and I'm so grateful to have had the change to pour my heart and soul into this character!

Synopsis:

He’s a game she never intended to play.

And she’s the game changer he never knew he needed.

When Cassie Andrews meets rising baseball hopeful Jack Carter, she is determined to steer clear of him and his typical cocky attitude. But Jack has other things on his mind… like getting Cassie to give him the time of day.

They are both damaged, filled with mistrust and guarded before they find one another (and themselves) in this emotional journey about love and forgiveness. Strap yourselves for a ride that will not only break your heart, but put it back together.

Sometimes life gets ugly before it gets beautiful…
